Parkinson’s Care and Support UK are delighted to partner with Maida Care and Candlewood House Care Home in Cricklewood.

The trio have been delivering massage therapy to residents who have Parkinson’s as well as exercise classes for those with Parkinson’s within the community. The partnership which started in August 2025, was initially put together to monitor how holistic therapies such as massage affect the mental and physical wellbeing of those with Parkinson’s within a care home setting.

Exercise Class Overview

Join a free accessible exercise class for people with Parkinson’s in London NW2. The class is gentle, safe, seated, and open to all levels.

The free seated exercise class designed for people with Parkinson’s  will take place on Monday 24th November 11am-12noon. This gentle session focusses on stretching and strengthening, all in a safe and supportive environment. Carers are warmly encouraged to participate alongside their loved ones.
