Pain and rigidity relief by Parkinson’s Care and Support UK

Pain is common in Parkinson’s and can stem from muscle rigidity, posture changes, nerve damage or dystonia.

If you live in South London or Surrey and are suffering from pain, you could benefit from a muscle relaxing therapy funded by Parkinson’s Care and support UK.

This is a non-evasive, gentle therapy that helps reduce Parkinson’s Symptoms such as pain and rigidity.  It can also improve flexibility and overall wellbeing.

The EMMETT Technique uses light finger pressure on specific points, which gently relaxes the muscle.  By freeing muscles from tension, you can relieve pain, improve movement, and feel more comfortable. This technique can be beneficial for people with Parkinson’s, often with immediate results.

We are offering a free course of treatments of up to 6 weekly sessions for you to experience how this therapy can bring relief from symptoms such as muscle rigidity, muscle pain and more, whilst we track your symptoms and your improvements. Treatments will take place in Carshalton, Surrey and Worcester Park in SW London and starts from Tuesday 14th April 2026.
